Grant was absolutely fabulous. Took care of our issue quickly and professionally! Very courteous and explained every step of the process. Will definitely rely on them again! Jose came to assist and was just as courteous and knowledgeable.

The guys at Ted's were able to get us a new system installed before the summer heat started kicking in. They had requoted a system that we were looking at last year and once we decided to move forward we they were at our house in a few days. The installation crew was at the house for two days and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. They replaced our old system and added zoning for the upstairs and downstairs. They made sure to clean up and were quick to answer questions if we had any. If you're looking for a new system or just annual maintenance I highly recommend using Ted's.

I appreciate how Ted's stands behind their work. Wesley came out and troubleshot a complicated wiring problem in some 40 y.o. wiring and got everything working and safe.

Over all I had a good experience when I call the receptionist where very proud and respectful helpful she got me a same day appointment the technician Christian was amazing very knowledgeable friendly he came on time he started working right away and he knew what he was doing and did not hesitate to give me advice and clean after him self will recommend 100%

My technician Jose was was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and explained things in a manner someone very ignorant about HVAC things could understand. I felt like he addressed my concerns and gave solid recommendations for a plan to address my issues. I really appreciated him taking photos of the issues/concerns to help explain his findings! We use Ted’s on a regular basis for HVAC checkups, so when our toilet broke and we needed it replaced, we called Ted’s. Jose and Wesley went above and beyond to go under the house to check the subfloor, and checked every plumbing connection for leaks, as well as our hot water heater before selling us anything. The subfloor was damaged and needed to be replaced so once we got that fixed, we had them come out and put in a new toilet as well as a new water heater. Grant was very polite and efficient and got both the toilet and the water heater installed while being respectful of the fact that I work from home. Every Ted’s technician is incredibly friendly and especially neat and tidy. Thank you!

So impressed with the service we received today from Ted’s Plumbing. Did not expect anyone to come today as I didn’t call til after 3 pm. The nice lady said someone would be here within the hour. Grant and Cameron came and checked everything thoroughly. We thought we needed a new water pump, but they found we needed a new hot water heater and pressure tank. Water was literally pouring from our hot water heater, causing our pump to continuously run. We just knew they wouldn’t be able to fix this for several days, but they left and got the new hot water heater and pressure tank, came back and installed it within a few hours. Grant and Cameron were so professional, courteous and knowledgeable and we can’t thank you guys enough. You should be proud having these young men working for you. And we know Ted personally, and we know he is trustworthy. This company is the best!

Jose and Joel did an outstanding job replacing my well pump. My pump went out one day and we had no water supply for more than 24 hours. We called several places to find someone to find the problem. Everyone was too busy to respond but Ted’s recognized the problem were arrived the same day and made the repair in about two hours. What a relief that was. I would highly recommend Ted’s HVAC on your plumbing need as well.

They’re always pleasant and knowledgeable for my maintenance.

LJ came out to check our home for a possible leak after the water bill showed a somewhat alarming increase in use. He was friendly and asked several detailed questions before setting out to inspect. He checked the meter and showed me there was no water being used at that moment. He checked all inside appliances that used water; sinks, dishwasher, etc and payed extra attention to the bathrooms. He also checked outside faucets and went under the house to inspect the hot water heater. While he determined there was no obvious substantial leaks, he did notice that the hot water heater was leaking and beginning to rust. We really appreciate his expertise in this area and look forward to working with Teds HVAC for all of our plumbing issues in the future!

I met the technician at my home for my yearly HVAC inspection. I felt he understood the system. There was one item that need to be cleaned and he did so. I would use Teds HVAC again.

Thorough work. Excellent communication from both office and service providers on site. We used Ted's for many years, but stopped when they raised their prices. But we were so dissatisfied with the new HVAC service company that we went back to Ted's after only one year. In the interim, they had actually reduced the new prices and are back in line with most other HVAC service providers. We feel much more comfortable returning to Ted's whom we trust.

Even though he couldn't find the problem today, he promised he would do some research to try and determine the source of the issue. He had a servant's heart and it showed. Great and fast service

Chris was polite, knowledgeable, and courteous. He explained the benefits of the HVAC system and the process that would follow if I selected his company.

My water went out around midnight on Wednesday night. Called Ted’s first thing Thursday morning. Grant made it out to us around 7pm. Checked out everything and figured out it was our water pump. Grant and Obed worked fast and had our pump pulled and replaced the pump and all new wiring. They had us water back by 10pm. Very pleased with the work done and professionalism. They said when they got to us that they weren’t leaving till we had water back and they did just that. Not many companies will stay out that late to make sure the job was done.

I'm very satisfied with the Ted's HVAC, Service was always on time and friendly everyone showed respect. I have nothing but good news.

Gene Irby acted in a professional manner when performing the diagnostic testing of the HVAC system.When asked questions he explained answers in an to understand way .Also found other problems not relating to the HVAC.

I had no water due to a burst pipe. Grant and Cameron picked up a case of bottled water on the way (and refused to take any money for it). I initially called in the late morning and they came the same day, in the afternoon, as they were already on abother job. I assumed they were going to assess the problem and come back the next day, as they would have to dig to find the leak, and it would be dark before they finished. They assured me that they would stay until the job was finished and I had water- and that is what they did, even though it was about 3 hours after 'regular' quitting time. Then as they waited for payment, they changed the lightbulbs in my kitchen ceiling. Both were polite, professional and just good people. They went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Jario is an electrician was sent to inspect our home. After seeing all the plug in I had in the one receptor he said he could add more receptors if I wanted them. Yes, yes was my thoughts and I told him where I needed them. He said he could do it. To my surprise he meant now.. happy I am. I spent the afternoon reorganizing my room. He was very professional, did a great job. I highly recommend this guy.

Very happy with recent service from technician, Justin out to check old furnace, was decided need for new furnace due to age and problem found, furnace not safe. FU at my request from Chris Hayes to discuss new furnace. Using Gas for many years but interested in switching to a heat pump.My son and I decided on a Heat Pump, quotes received within a day. Was able to get install date within a week. Corey , Cameron and Seth installed. Could not be happier with the excellent service they provided. Polite, knowledgeable, answered all my questions and cleaned up once service completed. Thank you all! Enjoying my new Heat pump!

Our service technicians, Grant and Josh were professional and efficient. At the end of the day, we had running water once again. It's good to know they took such care to put everything in place so the freezing temperatures didn't harm their great job of replacing the well pump and pressure tank.

Grant gave me a quote that was reasonable and after parts being ordered, was able to schedule a day to complete the work within a week. Update: Ted's has reached out and is currently working with us so we are continuing service for now. We want to reiterate that the guys that come out are always great! I give it two stars because the guys that come out are always great, but the service has been slowly dwindling over the last couple years. Initially bought into a package that covered the check-ups and warranties for service and parts when we first moved in. They were great. A couple years ago they changed the plan to cover less and customer service dropped off. Now they have changed again with no warning and left us wondering why we weren't getting service when we were paying a monthly fee. No mailer or calls asking if we wanted to switch to a new service or option. Just nothing. It is sad that these companies just don't seem to want repeat customers. Looks like we will be finding another service.

On Friday, November 1, 2024 I am received service from Ted’s HVAC. Christian D was the technician that serviced my unit. Christian was friendly, professional, and very thorough. He kept me informed of the various actions he did during the service visit. He treated my home with respect as he entered in and out of the house. He provided a detailed assessment of his findings and gave recommendations on how to keep my AC and heating unit running at optimal performance. Christian represented Ted’s HVAC very well.

Christian was outstanding. From his initial introduction to his thoroughness of explaining what he found to final resolution. I’m satisfied there wasn’t a tube, valve or electrical component left unchecked.

Was in need for a new HVAC System and Chris was extremly helpfull and knowledgeable. He gave us 3 option , explained pro and cons and helped with the paperwork ( Rebate/ Tax Credit) Very plesant experiance and what I reallly liked most ,very responsive and good comminicator. Thank you Chris

I have called Ted's for all of my plumbing and electrical needs since moving here almost 3 years ago. Their customer service and technicians are top notch. Today was no exception. Grant and LJ came for my plumbing maintenance inspection and found a couple of problems I didn't know I had. They explained everything to me and told me what needed to be done to fix it. They got it done promptly and were so professional and courteous. I can't say enough good things about this company! I highly recommend them and will continue to use their services long into the future!

Michael is professional and courteous. He made sure I understood the difference screens on the thermostat and what they meant. Asked me questions on how the unit was doing and then later reported back on his findings. October 2022, Joshua came out to do a plumbing inspection. He was very professional and went through every pipe and let us know what we could fix ourselves (clogged drain) and what needed to be fixed professionally in the near future. He took pictures and explained everything in simple terms so we could understand. Definitely recommend Ted's HVAC and Plumbing! Nov 2022 we had Antonio come out for a heater preventative maintenance. He showed me ipad checklist of everything he had to document for a maintenance check up. Quite impressive! This data is stored in my file and then can be tracked over time to see if there are any trends for the technician to address during there visit. Antonio was pleasant and explained everything to me in terms I can understand and then asked if I had any questions. This company is always very professional and arrives when they say they are going to arrive. I am definitely renewing my maintenance contract! March 20, 2023 Antonio arrived to the house on time and pleasant, answered all my questions, and I renewed my maintenance contact for another year. October 17, 2024 Ted's plumbers came out (Kyle) because I lost hot water. They diagnosed the problem quickly. They had the parts on the truck to make the repairs and they were in and out within an hour. Always very pleasant people.

We have used Ted’s for all of our plumbing, mechanical and electrical work for the past 2 years. Their office is always very responsive and accommodating. Their service personnel are always super professional, hyper sensitive to cleanliness and perform top quality work. Highly recommended.

Sam Hall came to our house yesterday to fix a leak in the ceiling. He was friendly, knowledgeable, careful of his work area and cleaned up after he finished repair. He answers all our questions about the job and even a couple of general questions we had. We definitely would call on Ted’s for future work

I hired Ted's to place my HVAC system. The people they sent out presented 3 different options along with the pros and cons of each. After we made our choice, we were put on the calendar. The techs were very friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. They did an excellent job and we are happy with our new HVAC system and happy that we hired Ted's to do the job.

The Electrician Cade Byrd is an outstanding employee at Teds Hvac. He identified some unexpected issues on our home worked out the solutions and stayed very late on the job until they were resolved and secure until he can return to finish

5 stars. To see why, keep reading. Otherwise, 5 stars. Very good. First, our AC wasn't working. Called Ted's, they came out the same day. The technician worked as I kept an eye. His troubleshooting looked thorough and it was deemed the compressor was bad. The compressor was 30ish years old, wild it survived that long. We than proceeded to buy a new AC and Furnace. The install was great and they kept me informed. Everything looked clean and professional. The installer, Cory, was awesome and worked diligently. Than we wanted to have some plumbing work done. We decided for a whole house plumbing update. We had old copper piping on a well and we've had a few leaks since we've lived in our current home. We chose Ted's again because of their AC and furnace work. Grant and Kyle were fantastic. They worked for 2 days installing everything I asked for. Now comes the fun part... after the AC install and before the plumbing work, we were doused by tropical storm Debby. My sump decided to not work and my crawlspace flooded. Ted's came out that day to see why our AC suddenly stopped working and Cory discovered the flooded crawlspace. That same evening Cory and Grant helped pump the water out of the crawlspace. The new AC was damaged. It was late and they couldn't get it fixed that day and would have to wait a few more days for parts to come in, but they eventually got it back in working order thanks to (Seth?). I am a disabled veteran. I find it difficult at times to do work around the house. They did not know this and we were treated very well despite our messy home. I tried to name everybody that worked on these projects to show my appreciation. So, apologies if I've missed anyone. The work was pricey, but the peace of mind is well worth it. I will be using Ted's for the foreseeable future.

Grant just finished installing new toilets for us and upgrading drain lines. He was amazing and polite, very trustworthy young man and a pleasure to deal with. Paul was knowledgeable and helpful and got our HVAC problem figured out quickly. They both explained everything they did and made sure I didn’t have any questions. They are both assets to your company and deserves praise.

Kirk was extremely helpful and solved our issues with my limited explanation of the problem. He kept us informed of everything he was doing and anything he found as a result of his inspection. We would definitely recommend Ted’s!

I had called Ted’s for a water test and he (Sam) told me what equipment I needed. I then hired Ted’s to install a new hot water heater, a whole house water filter, and a water softener. Sam and Wes came out and installed everything. They arrived on time and they ended up doing more than what was originally planned. They never cut any corners and they did an exceptional job both in the house and under it. It was a lot of work but they did it quickly because they knew what they were doing. They explained everything to me and I know that I probably asked them too many questions but they answered each one. Outstanding job and exceptional men.

Antonio came out last week and notified us of the problem with our A/C and told us it would be a month before it could be fixed, however they were able to get the part in early and called to schedule to get it fixed, the entire time he was here he was examining the unit to make sure it was working properly and checking the air coming from our vents was cooler than the air going into the system, we are so grateful for the service that was provided and how quick we were able to get it resolved! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I needed some extincive work in 2021 done on my HVAC . My sister that lives in roxboro sead that she had used Ted's to replace her complete HVAC unit .And that she was thrilled with the outcome. So i called and Ted's did my job . ( Same outcome as my sister ) .So its july 2024 and i needed a checkup on my A.C . Im sure there are a few HVAC companies between chapel hill and roxboro where Ted's is located . But with the service that Christan and the rest of the team give at Ted's Why whould i go elsewhere. Grant was very helpful in knowing what I needed to update in my 2005 townhouse. I am opting to go ahead and replace the hot water heater that is in my attic. Prevention is a better option. And I’m having three of my faucets replaced …opting for the higher arc faucets, helpful if you’re trying to water your plants. Grant is very patient and knowledgeable. He is very thorough and trustworthy.

Updated Review 5/15/24! Still a 5 ⭐️ We had LJ, Antonio and Bruce come to the house for maintenance. Customer service is great and they are very thorough. They had me walk with them as they went through the house to go over any questions or concerns we may have had. Customer service is top notch! We had a new TRANE HVAC system installed in our home and cleaning maintenance on our unit in the shed. Every employee that I have talked with has been very kind and knowledgeable. You can tell this is a good company to work for it shows in their employees! Thanks Chris and Brittany for great service and sending the right people here!

I can confidently confirm this to be true. Their work today was completed just as they quoted and completed very quickly. UPDATE: After several trips for scheduled/routine maintenance and evaluations, the Ted’s team continues to impress with the level of service demonstrated on day one. This is the case with multiple technicians on different days at different times. Simply, Ted’s customer service could be the benchmark for companies that struggle with achieving a high rating. Their quality of work equals their service.

Antonio was the best. He thoroughly checked my AC unit to find the problem. It only ended up being my filter which he changed for me and let the unit run to make sure that was the only problem. The customer service was top notch. I would highly recommend Teds to anyone.
